This is a watercolor I did based on a photo taken in Judith Basin, MT. All over Montana, you can come across small, isolated "ghost" structures like this. The window really grabbed me--it made me wonder what long gone hopes and dreams somebody saw through it.
I had a tough time choosing my major in college--art or French--French or art? I chose French reasoning that I'd only perfect my French in college and of course, I would always do art. Little did I know that 40 years, two kids, and thousands of students later I would only now be getting back to my art! Recently retired from a full career as a teacher and trainer of teachers, I am excited at the prospect of being able to spend more time doing what I love best--using my creativity to show others how I see the world around me. I have done all kinds of drawing, watercolor and oil painting including portraits, block and intaglio printing.
