On our last trip to Montana, we took the boat tour of the Gates of the Mountains, on the Missouri River, near Helena. It was an overcast day, and the light was very flat, which gave an aspect to the sky and water that I tried very hard to capture here.
I had a tough time choosing my major in college--art or French--French or art? I chose French reasoning that I'd only perfect my French in college and of course, I would always do art. Little did I know that 40 years, two kids, and thousands of students later I would only now be getting back to my art! Recently retired from a full career as a teacher and trainer of teachers, I am excited at the prospect of being able to spend more time doing what I love best--using my creativity to show others how I see the world around me.
